We Build Everything on God's Word

At Calvary Baptist, the Bible isn't a decoration—it's the foundation. Every message, every program, every conversation starts with Scripture. If you're looking for a church that takes God's Word seriously and teaches it plainly, you're in the right place.

We're also committed to helping families raise their kids well. Whether you're navigating parenting questions, searching for community, or just wanting your children to grow up knowing Christ, that's exactly what we're here for.

What to Expect When You Visit

Our Sunday service lasts about an hour—opening worship (15 min), announcements and special music (10 min), then a Bible message (30–40 min). It's straightforward. No surprises.

Your kids will be well cared for. We have a nursery for infants through age 4, and Bible classes for older children during the service. Every volunteer has been background-checked. You'll be walked to your child's room—you won't have to figure it out alone.

First Time? Here's What Happens

When you arrive on Sunday morning, look for me (Pastor John) on the front porch of the church—I'll personally greet you and point you in the right direction. We also have clear signage and a detailed map on our website showing you exactly where to go.

Check in at our Welcome Center in the Family Life Center. Our team will walk you to the auditorium and help get your kids settled in their classrooms. You won't have to figure it out alone.

Fill out a Visitor Connection Card during the service if you'd like. We'll reach out within 48 hours—no pressure, just a personal hello.

What Happens When I Arrive?

When you arrive at Calvary Baptist Church, keep an eye out for signs leading you to our Visitor Center situated in the Family Life Center. At the Visitor Center, you'll receive a warm welcome from our friendly staff who can guide you to either our worship service or our children's classrooms if you're bringing kids along. Moreover, there are greeters stationed throughout our facilities ready to assist with any inquiries or help you find seating.

While you wait for the service to commence, feel free to immerse yourself in the music, stay updated on upcoming events via the main screen, and take a moment to fill out our Visitor Connection Card. You can submit the completed card to our ushers and/or pastoral staff at any time following the service.

What is the Service Like?

At Calvary Baptist, we aim to provide you with a meaningful worship experience that's free of stress. Our services typically last about 60 minutes. The first 15 minutes are dedicated to heartfelt singing of hymns and spiritual songs, led by our choir and congregational leader. All song lyrics are conveniently displayed on the main screen for easy participation. Following prayer, announcements, and another hymn, we're treated to special music by soloists or singing groups. Then, our Pastor delivers a message rooted in God's Word, tailored to our everyday lives, lasting around 30-40 minutes.

Beyond our worship services, we invite you to try one of our Adult Small Group Bible Studies every Sunday at 9:45 AM. These smaller, focused gatherings cater to various levels of spiritual growth—Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Discipleship. They provide an excellent opportunity to connect with others who share your desire to deepen their relationship with Christ through intensive Bible study, fostering spiritual growth in a practical manner.

Children
Where do I take my Children?

Andrew Blackburn, our Student Ministries Pastor, leads Calvary Kidz for ages 5-11, and our dedicated preschool and nursery teams care for your youngest children with love and patience. How Should I Dress?

We welcome each person as they are. Our main goal is to make you feel welcome and comfortable as you visit Calvary Baptist Church.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No. We simply desire that you come and worship the Lord with us. Our service is a gift to you. Our desire is that you will find a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow spiritually in the Lord.
