Welcome to Calvary Clubs!
A Wednesday night your whole family will look forward to.

Calvary Clubs is our Wednesday night ministry for children, teens, and parents — and what makes it different from anything else you'll find is this: every member of your family studies the same lesson on the same night, just in age-appropriate settings. While your kids are in Calvary Clubs, you're in the adult study covering the exact same Scripture. You walk in as a family and walk out with something to talk about on the drive home.

We run every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 7:30 PM — one hour, done by 7:30, so your kids are home and headed to bed at a decent hour on a school night. We thought about that on purpose.

What We Teach
Built on Scripture. Brought to life through adventure.

Calvary Clubs uses Patch the Pirate as our primary curriculum — a beloved, proven children's ministry program built around Bible-based adventure stories, Scripture memory, and character-building lessons that kids genuinely love. If you grew up in church, there's a good chance you remember Patch. If you're new to it, prepare for your kids to come home singing.

Every lesson is rooted in God's Word and designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and memorable. We're not babysitting on Wednesday nights. We're discipling the next generation — and we take that seriously.

What a Wednesday Night Looks Like
High energy. Meaningful. Done by 7:30.

Families arrive together at 6:30 PM. After a quick check-in, children and teens head to Calvary Clubs while parents join the adult study. Everyone is learning from the same curriculum — just in age-appropriate settings.

A typical Calvary Clubs night includes:

  • Worship — Kids learn to worship through music in a fun, age-appropriate setting that makes singing feel like the best part of the night.
  • Bible Lesson — Drawn from the Patch the Pirate curriculum, aligned with what parents and teens are studying at the same time.
  • Games — Active, high-energy games that build friendships and burn off some of that after-school energy.

We wrap up at 7:30 PM — because we know your kids have school tomorrow, and a ministry that respects your family's schedule is a ministry your family can actually commit to.

More Than Wednesday Nights
Calvary Clubs is a pathway into the life of the church

Calvary Clubs isn't just a weekly program — it's a front door into everything the church is. Throughout the year, Calvary Clubs kids will have opportunities to perform on stage during Sunday services and serve in various ministry roles within the body of Christ.

We believe that faith isn't just taught — it's practiced. When a child stands on a stage on Sunday morning and leads worship or shares what they've learned, something happens in their heart that a classroom lesson alone can't produce. We want your kids to own their faith, not just observe it.

Meet Your Calvary Clubs Director
Led by someone who genuinely loves your kids.

Calvary Clubs is directed by Pastor Andrew Blackburn, our Pastor of Student Ministries. Andrew is passionate about building a ministry that takes both evangelism and discipleship seriously — and is committed to making every single Wednesday night an experience worth coming back for.

Calvary Clubs also depends on a team of dedicated volunteers who help lead, serve, and invest in the lives of our kids. If you have a heart for children's ministry and want to be part of something special, we would love to have you on the team.

Registration & Getting Started
We'd love to have your family with us this fall.

Calvary Clubs launches September 9, 2025 and runs weekly through the school year.

Registration is required for all children so we can plan well, maintain proper ratios, and serve your family with excellence. Registration details will be available closer to our September launch — watch this page and our Facebook page for updates.

Calvary Clubs is open to Calvary Baptist members and families in our community. If you have kids and you've been looking for a reason to check out Calvary, Wednesday night is a great place to start.
