We have deep desire to help others to know Christ personally and, then, to help them grow spiritually in their relationship to Him. In turn, we desire to see people share their relationship with others also.

GO | GROW | SERVE
Christ before ascending into Heaven gave each local church one very specific commission. He said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20
GO
The command from Christ was quite clear. He said “Go ye…” We are obligated to spread the Gospel far and wide. Later, in Acts 1:8, Christ was specific saying that we should be witnesses for Him in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth. At Calvary Baptist Church, we are determined to fulfill Christ’s command to go.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
GROW
The life a believer is all about spiritual growth. We are to grow in our knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. We gain that knowledge by diligent study of God’s Word. Thus, all that we preach and teach is centered around Scripture. From our nursery to our worship services, we do nothing but teach God’s Word. We are all about encouraging disciples read, study, meditate, and memorize God’s word with the intent of living obediently before Him.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
SERVE
God’s desire is that each believer use his/her talents for Him. We serve through the local church as we minister before the Lord and to others. There all kinds of opportunities to serve the Lord at Calvary Baptist Church. Opportunities such as greeting people at the door, teaching or assisting a children’s class, singing or playing a music instrument, or just helping take care of the beautiful church campus God has given us. There is nothing more than fulfilling than using your time and your talents for the Lord and for others.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” Ephesians 4:11-13
