CBC Kidz Ministries

Our desire is to train our children to know Christ. We have several wonderful ministries for children of all ages. At the heart of each ministry is the teaching of God’s Word. More than anything we want children to not only have a real relationship with Christ, but we also want them to grow in that relationship and go on to serve Him the rest of their lives. Here are some ministries through which we strive to accomplish this goal.
 

CBC Kidz  | Bible Study Classes

There is a Bible study class for children of every age at Calvary Baptist Church. We have wonderful teachers who love the Lord and who are excited about teaching children each Sunday morning.  Our children’s classes are wonderful opportunity for each child to meet other children and learn with them about God and His Word. As the adult’s are learning with other adults, their children are enjoying Bible lessons specifically geared to their age. Sunday School is an excellent way for children to learn the truths of God’s Word.
 

CBC Kidz  | Patch Clubs

Patch Clubs meet each week during the Sunday worship service. After they are dismissed from their Sunday School class, children begin the Worship hour in the main auditorium with their parents as we worship together as families. Then, just before the main message, they are dismissed to go with our Patch Club leaders. Each Sunday they are challenged with a practical Bible message along with engaging songs and fun games. 
 

CBC Kidz | AWANA Clubs

Last, but not least by any means, is our AWANA program for kids of all ages. AWANA is a club program run each Wednesday night at 6:45 p.m. throughout the school year. Each night there are games, Bible memorization, as well as devotion time. Our AWANA program also has some major activities each year such as our Family Fun Night and our AWANA Grand Prix. We love our AWANA program and enjoy ministering to kids through it.
